The Medical Intellectual's Self-Defense Kit
The Medical Intellectual's Self-Defense Kit (MISDK) is a set of books and materials for medical students who are interested in learning more about the moral and economic case for individual rights and capitalism in medicine. The materials are accessible and engaging, and they assume no prior knowledge of philosophy or economics.

We are able to distribute the kit to students at no charge, thanks to the voluntary financial support of private individuals like you. Eligible recipients include medical students, residents, pre-med students, and nursing students. Current Availability
YES—The Lucidicus Project is currently accepting requests for kits, but shipping is delayed as we are temporarily unable to fill requests. (Last updated: September 6, 2010.)
Note: Occasionally we get requests from students who have already read one of the items in the kit. If you already own any of the materials and do not need another copy, please let us know. This is optional, but it helps us to stretch our inventory a little further and award more kits to more students over the long run.
